The Adventures of El Padre Burro

A wild, Saturday-morning-cartoon-style adult animated dark comedy set in a surreal, endlessly twilight version of Tijuana. It follows the misadventures of El Padre Burro—a washed-up local celebrity, conman, and self-appointed goodwill ambassador who still calls himself "the star of Tijuana's most talked-about show" (yes, that donkey show). When he's not scamming tourists or preaching civic reform through tequila-soaked miracles, El Padre drags his gullible assistant Mojack, his melodramatic rival Señor José Ignacio Ramírez-de la Furia, and the painfully clueless Mayor Todd into one disaster after another. Each episode plays like a twisted, adult spin on a Saturday morning cartoon—bright, fast, and full of bad decisions—where the only lesson learned is that Tijuana always survives, but never improves.
